State trooper facing Washington DUI charges and Possibly Washington Criminal Charges

According to a Seattle Times article an off duty Washington State trooper on March 20, 2012 ran is car off the road according to State Patrol. That was only his first mistake. Facing a Washing DUI is bad enough for an Officer’s career and reputation; however this Officer took poor decision making to a new level. The Officer called one of his subordinate rookie officers to come assist him. Clearly this do not go as planned, prosecutors are investigating the DUI charge plus the possibility other Washington criminal charges stemming from the alleged abuse of authority.
